As a 65yo I love squash for it’s all weather convenience, fun & physicality. I’m not a jogger & hate gyms. Squash delivers fitness with fun, anytime, night or day. Shame its fallen by the wayside in recent decades for real estate $value reasons, but I sense a revival. Modern court designs have rafted up the fun factor immeasurably. Not previously a TV viewing sport, it’s becoming one again now. Fluorescent lighting, wall imaging, clear perspex (moveable) walls, white ball, etc... etc... all adding attraction & commercial viability. From age 5 to 85 it’s a sport all can play. Competition is nationally ranked so no-one is outflanked.
And I’m part of the CCSA committee because this great sport cannot be allowed to die. It brings people together, socially/competitively, in the name of fitness & friendship.

Anthony Rex Thomas
For me it begun with a sawn-off wooden Squash Racket when I was 2 years old and I have played all my life all over Australia since then I have seen Squash at its peak and it's low points, I have an understanding of what needs to be done for the future of Squash which will see the end of the decline. The vision is having a team to colaborate with the governing bodies, council & state government to achieve multi sport facilities in Australia.
I joined Central Coast Squash Association with this vision and strive to improve upon our Nonprofit Organisation, with the focus on developing the organisation with experience and integrity.
